英 teresting!

台灣的延長線大部分是那種有很多插座可以同時使用的那種，

然後一方面也有點長，可以用來接比較遠的東西，

那在英文有兩種說法，

power strip：就是很多插座的那一個東西，但他不一定很長！

extension cord：沒有很多插座，通常只有配一個插頭的那種中繼線

我覺得台灣通常就是這兩個功能一起用的感覺，

可以接比較遠的東西+上面很多插座，所以主要還是叫power strip！

來點例句吧

1. We use an extension cord to charge our electric car from the second

floor.

我們用延長線從二樓充我們的電動車。

2. Sometimes power strips can overheat if you have too many things

plugged into them.

有時候如果插太多東西在延長線上，它會過熱。

3. The outlet is too far away. We will need an extension cord.

這個插座太遠了，我們需要一個延長線。
