有一次朋友說：I know you like the back of my hand.
我說：the back of your hand？（整個疑惑，想說他怎麼知道我喜歡他的手背？
原來這句話並不是字面上的意思拉, 而是指“對你暸若指掌”的意思。
原來中文的指掌間, 英文是用手背來表示呀！
